AFTER HAVING THE SAME HAIRDRESSER FOR 25 YEARS IT WAS A HUGE CHALLENGE TO FIND A NEW ONE AFTER MOVING TO FLORIDA.
One day my sister came over with the most amazing hair and of course I needed to run to her new hairdresser who was Melissa. Melissa has been such a joy to work with. She does great color, cut, conditioning, etc. When people tell me that I have beautiful hair I reply its only because of Melissa my one and only hairdresser. Believe me, I researched to find someone that I felt had the expertise and knowledge regarding perms, olaplex and color expert and wouldn't cut all my hair off...lol...as I have had some very bad experiences after moving to Florida 16 yrs ago...so I would just color and trim myself for years unless I flew back to Massachusetts only trusting my Cousin! I CONFESS, I AM A PICKY CUSTOMER… I JUST MOVED HERE AND HAVE BEEN TRYING OUT STYLISTS ALL OVER TOWN. I FINALLY FOUND MY STYLIST!
She took time to listen to what I wanted and asked lots of clarifying questions. I showed her a few pictures and she described a few different approaches to the cut that incorporated elements from the pictures. She offered input and ideas that took my hair type and the overall look I wanted into account. She also checked in and asked questions along the way. Her skill and technique was totally evident! She is skillful with straight razor - something I’ve been looking for! Overall, Melissa is an incredibly skillful, professional stylist with with the experience and interpersonal skills to not just cut hair well, but exactly how I wanted! Yeay!!
